Juila and Juile.

Last night my dear and I went to see Juila and Julie. Nearly every seat in the place was occupied by a viewer. The Theater rocked with laughter and and maide merming sounds when things went sad. We loved the movie and our viewpoint wasn'tjust ours. It seemed that most folks were beaming with good feelings about the J&J movie. My mother was a Home Ec. teacher in the late 60's. She often spoke "Juila-ism comments because one of the reasons she became a Teacher in the early 60's was Juila Child's cookbook. It was insprational even when it first came out.
When I came home from school there would always be fresh baked cookies and pies cooling in the kitchen. Mom baked early in the a.m and in her afternoons at home, Time off from school day teaching. It was a great way to grow up.
After seeing Juila and Julie my husband and I wandered into the bookstore and found both of Juila's cookbooks. Today, I went to the farmers market and bought Asian green and burgendy green beans the lushest green pepper covered with flashes of deep red. Peaches growen without pesticides which hold the golden taste of summer. Tiny red finger potatos, and a hormone free chuck roast. All this goodness will go into Dinner tonight. Dinner is a Juila and Julie special called Boeuf Bordelaise, with a home salad. It smells hevenly as it cooks along toward dinner.
